Terms of Service
Product: Lawsec, a product of Epistemic LLC

1. Acceptance of the Terms of Service
These terms of service are entered into by and between You and Epistemic LLC ("Epistemic"). The following terms and conditions govern your access to and use of Lawsec, including any content, functionality, and services offered on or through Lawsec.
By using the product, you accept and agree to be bound and abide by these Terms of Service. If you do not want to agree to these Terms of Service, you must not access or use Lawsec.
2. Changes to the Terms of Service
We may revise and update these Terms of Service from time to time in our sole discretion. All changes are effective immediately when we post them, and apply to all access to and use of Lawsec thereafter. Your continued use of the product following the posting of revised Terms of Service means that you accept and agree to the changes.
3. Accessing the Product and Account Security
We reserve the right to withdraw or amend this product, and any service or material we provide on Lawsec, in our sole discretion without notice. We will not be liable if for any reason all or any part of Lawsec is unavailable at any time or for any period. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Nature of the Service
Lawsec provides administrative and secretarial assistance, including answering routine inquiries, capturing intake information, and scheduling. Lawsec does not provide legal advice, does not create an attorney-client relationship, and is not a substitute for the judgment of a qualified legal professional. Matters requiring legal judgment are escalated to the relevant firm.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
The product and its entire contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video, and audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof) are owned by Epistemic LLC, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.
6. Prohibited Uses
You may use Lawsec only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms of Service. You agree not to use the product:
- In any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation.
- For the purpose of exploiting, harming, or attempting to exploit or harm minors in any way.
- To transmit, or procure the sending of, any advertising or promotional material, including any "junk mail", "chain letter", "spam", or any other similar solicitation.
- To impersonate or attempt to impersonate Epistemic, a Lawsec employee, another user, or any other person or entity.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
Your use of Lawsec, its content, and any services or items obtained through the product is at your own risk. The product is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
8. Limitation on Liability
To the fullest extent provided by law, in no event will Epistemic LLC, its affiliates, or their licensors, service providers, employees, agents, officers, or directors be liable for damages of any kind, under any legal theory, arising out of or in connection with your use, or inability to use, Lawsec.
